Deepika doesn’t believe in size zero

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is blessed with a good figure, says she does not believe in being size zero as the Indian body type is not meant for it. ”

Correct me if I am wrong, but I personally feel that the Indian body type is not cut out to be size zero. I am not size zero and I don’t believe in that either,” Deepika told IANS.

“I believe that it’s nice to be little full and have a nice shape,” she added. The Bollywood actress was the show stopper for designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil’s show at the Lakme Fashion Week here Sunday.

According to Deepika, an actress gets a role for her performance and not the body type. “In the (film) industry, body size doesn’t matter.

What matters is how much an actor contributes through his performance and not his body size,” explained Deepika.

“It is important that every person should wear clothes that go with their body – the cut, the fabric make a lot of difference,” she added.

Tanushree will be seen in an absolutely different avatar and a ravishing new look in the film.

“Yes, I have cut down my hair for the film and it’s a totally different look,” adds Tanushree.

“Apartment is a thriller film and Neetu Chandra and Ronit Roy is there with me.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are trying to re-start their relationship that ended on an ugly note when Ranbir out of the blue decided to dump Deepika.

Shilpa, Aamir, Meera Join Forces To Save BBC Asian Network

Over 100 well-known British Asians comprising Meera Syal, as well as Bollywood celebs Shilpa Shetty and Aamir Khan have demanded the BBC to change its decision to shut the Asian Network, the digital radio station. The BBC is already under attack over plans declared this week to shut BBC 6 Music and confronts.
A new wave of protestation today as over 100 famous British Asians wish the Asian Network to be saved. Top stars, actors and peers have signed up a letter, advocating the BBC to stop the closing of the station. Also signed the letter forwarded to to BBC Trust chairman Sir Michael Lyons. All signatories showed their “deep shock” at the BBC’s verdict to shut out the national station. The letter said that the 8-year-old digital broadcaster offers up a “key platform” for.
