After her decision to try her hand at fashion designing, actress Ayesha Takia is up for yet another venture now.

According to our sources, Ayesha is setting up her own coffee chain shops across the nation. For this the actress is spending quite some time travelling and doing all the ground work.

And standing by her is her hubby Farhan Azmi, who is kicked about Ayesha’s new idea. Talking about her new business Ayesha says.

“I have decided to open my own chain of coffee shops across the nation. While doing films remains my core passion.

I will still love to try out a few new things in life. Opening coffee shops is just one of the ideas that has got me completely absorbed at the moment.”

For the moment Ayesha is taking it easy on the film front. Her major interest currently is to see her cuppa idea take the nation by storm.

Deepika to romance Hrithik in New Movie Krrish 2

Much to the delight of the Roshans, Deepika Padukone has finally accepted to play Hrithik Roshan’s ladylove. She will dethrone.

Priyanka Chopra and will next be seen playing hunk Hrithik Roshan leading lady in the ‘Krrish’ sequel. After the debacle of ‘Kites’, Rakesh Roshan has again taken.

The huge task of bringing his son’s career on track by making a sequel to the box office hit ‘Krrish’. Deepika was in the Roshan’s mind from the very first day.

It is said that she was the first choice for ‘Kites’ but high volume of intimate scene compelled the actress to reject the offer.

Moreover, she was also not ready for bikini at that moment. Her rejection proved as a blessing for Deepika. Roshan later opted for Mexican beauty Barbara Mori and thus.

Deepika saved herself from registering another flop. But today Deepika is more than happy to be a part of ‘Krrish’ sequel. She has readily accepted the offer.

Amrita Rao, Tusshar Kapoor Start Filming for Love U… Mr. Kalakaar

Production for Rajashree Entertainment’s Love U… Mr. Kalakaar, a young love story headlining Amrita Rao and Tusshar Kapoor has started. The unit is shooting 14 hours a day with trademark Rajashri efficiencies. Unlike Rajshri’s past megahits – Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah, Amrita’s debut film – the new film is not focused on a marriage.
Also, Sooraj Barjatya, who wielded the baton for the past hits, is taking a backseat. Love U… Mr. Kalakaar, the first of a 3 film deal between Amrita Rao and Rajshir Productions, is being helmed by debutant director S Manasvi, an FTII graduate who has also written the story and the screen play.

It is the story of Sahil (Tusshar Kapoor), a cartoonist, an artist who derives his inspiration from emotions that come from the sky, from the earth, a scrap of paper, a passing shape, a spider’s web; while Ritu (Amrita Rao) is a management trainee, whose world revolves around debits, credits, turnovers, profits, deadlines. She falls in love with Sahil.

I’m almost half-naked in Aisha – Ira Dubey

Sexy shorts and tank tops – actress Lillete Dubey’s daughter Ira Dubey has worn all this and even less for her first commercial Bollywood film Aisha in order to look flamboyant and wild, and says she felt almost “half-naked”. “My character in Aisha is quite flamboyant and wild. So my clothes required to be bizarrely quirky and bold.Fashion is a huge element in Aisha,” Ira told IANS.
She added: “I was told that whichever clothes you see on the ramp and say – ‘Who will wear that?’ – that’s the confidence that my character Pinki Bose must have.” So, she did just that. “My own personal style of dressing is very experimental.

I like to have fun with my clothes. One day I came back from my trials and told my elder sister Neha that I have to wear really bizarre clothes for Aisha. She said: ‘That’s easy because it will be just like you!’ Then I told her it is 20 times more bizarre than I can get!” Ira said.

“There are clothes in funky and bold colours and they are really short. I keep joking that I’m almost half-naked in the film. There are really short pairs of shorts and I wear a bikini in a scene where we play beach volleyball,” she said.

“In 60-70 percent of the film, I am wearing shorts and wear one or two skirts as well,” added Ira, who insisted on wearing spectacles in the film to add zing to her character.

The 26-year-old theatre actress said she has developed a brave fashion sense after Aisha, which is based on Jane Austen’s popular novel Emma.

“I have definitely become braver in style. I have a very petite frame and my co-actors used to keep saying ‘you can carry them off well’. Even though I do wear a lot of funky stuff, I haven’t been very bold,” she said.

“But I guess now I am a little more confident on that front,” said Ira, who requested producer Rhea Kapoor to let her keep a pair of chic navy blue boots that she wore in the film. Before Aisha, Ira featured in Rohan Sippy’s The President Is Coming and also was a movie critic for Sony Pix’s Chicks On Flicks.

At the moment, she is “a bundle of nerves” and hopes she does not get typecast in Bollywood. “It’s very easy to get typecast in the Indian film industry. In my last film The President Is Coming, I played a sophisticated upper class girl. In Aisha also, I play someone who likes high-end things. But now I really want to work with directors like Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bharadwaj to play more grounded roles,” Ira said.

“I’ve done many strong, female-oriented roles in plays, so I am capable of doing simpler looking, tough roles and prove that I can handle a whole lot of diverse work,” she added. Aisha also features Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Arunoday Singh and newcomers Amrita Puri and Lisa Haydon. Ira plays the role of Pinky Bose, a filthy rich girl who is best friends with Sonam’s character Aisha.

Underworld dons in Hindi films are like cardboard cutouts of the stereotypical baddies who smoke ciggies, talk less, glower more, and gun down their foes without as much.

A Time In Mumbaai, starring Emraan Hashmi, Ajay Devgan, Kangana Ranaut and Prachi Desai. Emraan, who plays a don, says the film would be a turning point of his career.

He adds that his character is unlike the dons we have seen in Hindi films before. “It’s a turning point of my career. I have played mostly romantic and intense roles.

On-screen criminals and underworld dons are mostly one-dimensional but here we have tried to give them an edge, to bring an emotional context… good songs, so that the film becomes more colourful and not dark,” the actor is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Emraan’s role in the film required him to develop six pack abs. “I hate this term six-pack. When Milan narrated the script he made sure that the character demands an overall muscular physique. Because of the action sequences, the toughness in the look was required,” Emraan said.

Lara Dutta joining PETA bandwagon

According to sources, the latest one to join this bandwagon is none other than Lara Dutta, who, the sources add has already shot.

An ad with greens all over her body. She will be supporting the cause of ‘Go Vegetarian’. Lara, for starters, has always been.

An animal lover. So much so, that her family even had. The company of dogs, squirrels and baby monkey as pets.

With her coming on board of PETA, it’s needless to say that animals, birds and plants are now in not just safer hands, but also confident hands. What say, readers?

Priyanka Chopra to look like her grandmother

She will age gracefully and will look like her granny! Yes, in Vishal Bhardawaj’s film Saat Khoon Maaf, the 65-year-old Priyanka Chopra will be made to look like her grandmother.

The special team of make-up artists for ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ worked on Priyanka’s aged look and as per reports took her grandmother’s pics to use as reference for her authentic look.

A source is quoted as saying, “They did a couple of images on the computer to show the natural transition from 30 to 65. Then they used her (Priyanka) grandmother’s photo to try.

And make her look as close to her as possible.” The final results were compelling. To guard Priyanka’s seven looks in the film Vishal has banned camera cell phones on the sets.

‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ covers a whole life span of a woman who gets to marry seven men, and Priyanka’ varied looks is undoubtedly the USP of the film. The film is expected to release by January next year.

Katrina Kaif: In no Mood to tell all!

Katrina Kaif, the star with an all lucky charm, is on a real high due to the appreciation she got for her astounding performance in the recently released ‘Rajneeti’.

The star is pinning on this flick to win her accolades and awards galore at this years various awards functions.

But, not one to waste much time, the actress is at present in Spain, busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’.

Apart from that, she is also awaiting to get the re-make rights of a French film, which had released in 2006.

The buzz is that she is not going to be producing the film, as was reported earlier. Rather.

She is waiting to enact a particular role that has interested her in the original version. Until now.

Katrina was considered a glam doll and was always seen as a decorative item in films, but with ‘Rajneeti’.

The perception of the critics as well as the audience towards her has changed a lot. Now, her acting potential has been well appreciated.

Thus, the actress is in a real charged up mode to try out different and unconventional roles, which she has never done before.

However, she is in no mood to divulge and tell her plan of the remake now, as she is scared that other filmmakers might steal her ideas. So, there, we just have to wait for the actress to tell us more about it, unless some information is leaked out otherwise!

Hrithik, Katrina to watch world’s most dangerous sport

This is not for the squeamish. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif will be spectators at one of the most dangerous sports in the world – bullfighting.

And the one who has ordered them to do this is Zoya Akhtar. The two, who are shooting for Zoya’s ZIngagi Milegi Na Dobara, will fly to Pamplona in Spain to witness the gory sport as part of their film shoot.

Apparently, the bull fight and the two watching it forms a crucial part of the film’s script. Not surprising, as the film had earlier been titled Running WIth The Bulls.

Zoya and her unit have had a tough time getting tickets as 90 per cent of the seats are reserved for season ticket holders. The unit is working hard to get all the details right before the shoot begins and figure out how to get Abhay Deol to join them in Pamplona.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara also stars Farhan Akhtar and Kalki Koechlin. It tells the story of three men who are best friends and who go on a road trip in Spain.
