Deepika Padukone was named The Sexiest Woman in The World by FHM in their 2010 special issue cover story – FHM’s 100 sexiest women in the world.

Deepika, who features on the magazine’s cover in a black sequined backless gown and a bouffant hairstyle, was ranked 6 last year.

Fashion designer Rohit Bal has got a new lease of life post his illness. Now, he doesn’t want to let his earlier lifestyle take a further toll on his health.

In his first interview after his illness, Rohit says, “I’m completely off alcohol. I cannot take any more risk. I have had a lot of fun.

In my life and I still think I will continue having an equal amount of fun but I need to control certain things for my own good.”

Now that he has recovered, will he be participating in fashion events this year? Rohit says.

“All the messages that I got from many people during my illness have made me realise that I was missed in the fashion circuit.

So I will not disappoint them further,” he says. To begin with, Rohit will design an entire wardrobe for actor.

Deepika Padukone, who is walking the Chivas Red Carpet in Cannes. “There’s a lot of criticism on why Indian women wear Western outfits at red carpets of premiere events.

This year Deepika will show the world how beautiful sarees are. She will be wearing a beautiful, super sexy saree,” he says. Deepika evidently is excited.

Ranbir-Deepika patched up once again: Ranbir-Deepika the real life couple has once again patched up.Following their break up few months ago, they both were recently seen together with close friends. They then watched “Housefull”, Deepika’s latest release in one of the theatres.

In a typical Baywatch style, Deepika Padukone saves her hero Akshay Kumar in the film Housefull, but it wasn’t as easy a shot as it seems.

The actress took special diving lessons to do it. She began scuba diving lessons during the making of ‘Housefull’ .

And now plans to continue them during her Mauritius schedule of the film Break Ke Baad. The talented actress seems to have an adventurous streak.

As Deepika confirms to a tabloid, she loves swimming in the sea. “I love swimming. I had to learn scuba diving for a few days during ‘Housefull’.

Now, I need to do a few more classes in the deep sea to become a certified diver.”

Deepika first learnt deep sea diving in Italy. Now, she’ll finish her remaining course in Mauritius. Deeps loves the sea!

Katrina loses while Deepika wins

Nowadays, the Bollywood sizzling actress, Deepika Padukone is being in headlines for her personal life. The IPL has brought her up in rumors that she shares.

A relation of ‘close friends’ with liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth Mallya. When Deepika was asked about this, as usual she said, “No comments.”

However she din not even deny the reports of being claimed as Siddharth’s ‘lucky charm’ for his IPL cricket team.

She said, “It is not at all fair to give me the credit and regard me a lucky charm. The players are performing really well and the credit should go to them.

Bangalore is Deepika’s hometown and she really got emotional when talked about her family, especially her mother.

She said, “I have learned a lot from my mother. She made me learn the art of multi-tasking. My mother was really a successful professional but she was always there for me and my sister.

She balanced her personal as well as professional life amazingly well. She’s not only my mom but my best friend as well.”

They fought over Ranbir Kapoor but cricket will unite them. Actress Deepika Padukone has been roped in by Vijay Mallya to be the face of his cricket team Royal Challenger Banglore. So now Mallya has not one but two glam dolls as his lucky mascots for this year’s cash rich cricket tournament. Katrina Kaif was alreadythe face of the team for the past year.
Sources close to both Deepika and Katrina say they will root for Mallya’s team. Katrina’s spokesperson added that the actor would continue to remainthe face of Mallya’s team for two more years. Meanwhile, sources close to Deepika say she will only attend those matches that Mallya’s team plays on their home ground – Bangalore. Deepika is from Banglore and she has agreed to cheer RCB on home turf. A source close to the development says: “Deepika is the new addition to the team. Her brand value is huge and she has seen a meteoric rise to the top.”
